This is our story

Macsken EPZ Ltd is a leading exporter of agricultural commodities from East Africa, specializing in macadamia nuts, cashew nuts, cocoa beans, and coffee. The Company was founded in 2019 with a vision to provide high-quality agricultural products to the world. Macsken EPZ ltd works with small-scale farmers who grow the crops organically and sustainably. The produce is processed in a modern facility that meets international standards. The Company aims to satisfy the needs and expectations of its customers with its premium macadamia, cashew, cocoa, and coffee products.

History

Since its inception in 2019, the company has made a significant impact on small scale farmers by providing them with valuable opportunities and resources, driving substantial growth in agricultural production. Farmers delivered 1,400 tonnes of produce in 2020, rising to 2,000 tonnes in 2021 and 5,400 tonnes in 2022, with a further 2,200 tonnes received part-way through 2023. Through their remarkable achievements, the company has positively impacted approximately 24,500 farmers, most of whom are women. The empowerment of these female farmers, coupled with sustainable agricultural practices, has not only improved their livelihoods but has also fostered a more prosperous and sustainable future for agriculture. The company's dedication to supporting farmers and enhancing their productivity exemplifies its commitment to social impact and community development.
